Steps
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the lobster meat and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Add this mixture to the skillet along with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Stir the sauce well and bring to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the sauce.
- Pour in the beaten egg, stirring gently to create ribbons in the sauce, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and white pepper to taste, and stir in the chopped green onions.
- Serve hot, ideally over steamed rice or noodles.
