Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Cooked chicken breast - 100 grams, shredded
  • Low-sodium soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 cm thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add diced red bell pepper, chopped green onions, and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Stir in the shredded chicken, low-sodium soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Spread the chicken and vegetable mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds, and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
