Ingredients

  • Gluten-free all-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Boiling water - 120 milliliters
  • Scallions (green onions) - 100 grams, finely chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour and salt. Gradually add the boiling water while stirring to form a dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped scallions, vegetable oil, sesame oil, and black pepper to make the filling.
  4. After resting, divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle (about 20 cm in diameter).
  5. Spread half of the scallion mixture evenly over each dough circle, leaving a small border around the edge.
  6. Roll each circle tightly into a log, then coil the log into a spiral shape and flatten it gently to form a round pie.
  7. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook each pie for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the skillet, cut into wedges, and serve hot.
