- Shanghai noodles - 200 grams
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
- Carrot, julienned - 1 medium
- Bell pepper, sliced - 1 medium
- Green beans, trimmed and cut - 100 grams
- Soy sauce (kosher) - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Scallions, chopped - 2 stalks
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sesame seeds - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the Shanghai noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large frying pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and green beans to the pan. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked noodles to the vegetable mixture in the pan. Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Transfer the noodle mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle chopped scallions on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on the edges.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
