Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Coconut aminos - 60 ml
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, grated
- Five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine coconut aminos, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, five-spice powder, black pepper, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
- Grill the ribs for about 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice char. The internal temperature should reach at least 70°C (160°F).
- While grilling, you can brush the ribs with any leftover marinade for extra flavor.
- Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the ribs garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
