Ingredients
- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Green onions (scallions) - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
- Cucumber - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped scallions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce leaves by washing and drying them thoroughly. Place them on a serving plate.
- Once the patties are done, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a lettuce leaf. Top with sliced cucumber and fresh cilantro.
- Wrap the lettuce around the patty and toppings like a burger, and serve immediately.
