Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200g
  • Warm water - 100ml
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Ground pork - 150g
  • Chopped green onions - 50g
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil - 1 tsp
  • Ginger, minced - 1 tsp
  • Garlic, minced - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the warm water while stirring until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix the ground pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide the rested dough into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle, about 20 cm in diameter.
  4. Place half of the meat mixture on one half of each rolled dough circle, leaving a small border around the edge. Fold the other half over to cover the filling and press the edges to seal.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of vegetable oil. Cook each flatbread for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Serve warm.
