- Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 250 grams
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Broccoli florets - 100 grams
- Carrot, julienned - 1 medium
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Red bell pepper, sliced - 1 small
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the broccoli, carrot, and red bell pepper, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
