Ingredients

  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 250 grams
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Carrot, julienned - 1 medium
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Red bell pepper, sliced - 1 small
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the broccoli, carrot, and red bell pepper, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Return the shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
