- Egg white - 1 large
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onions, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
- Coconut oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the prawns, egg white, garlic, ginger, spring onions, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until a smooth paste forms.

- Take a small amount of the prawn mixture and form it into a thin patty, about 1 cm thick. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

- Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the prawn patties sesame-side down into the pan.
- Fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.
