Ingredients

  • Whole wheat noodles - 200 grams
  • Sesame paste - 60 grams
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Rice vinegar - 15 ml
  • Honey - 10 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Spring onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 500 ml

Steps

  1. Boil 500 ml of water in a pot, then add the whole wheat noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the noodles are cooking, in a bowl, mix together the sesame paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the drained noodles with the sesame sauce mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix well.
