  • White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod) - 250 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
  • Scallions (sliced) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Add the white fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the fish from the marinade and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly on both sides.
  5. Place the fish on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and garnish with sliced scallions before serving.
