Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons, toasted
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.
  6. During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the skewers.
