Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, sesame oil, and soy sauce until well combined.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets to the egg mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the almond flour mixture over the cauliflower and toss again until all florets are well coated.
  6. Spread the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the top of the florets.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
