Ingredients
- Glutinous rice flour - 100 grams
- Water - 120 ml
- Red bean paste - 50 grams
- White sesame seeds - 50 grams
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Oil for frying - as needed
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add water while stirring until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and flatten each piece in your palm.
- Place a teaspoon of red bean paste in the center of each dough piece, then fold and pinch the edges to seal, rolling into a ball.

- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the sesame balls, a few at a time, avoiding overcrowding.
- Fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.
