- Fish fillet (such as cod or tilapia) - 100 grams
- Scallops - 100 grams
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (sliced) - 1 inch
- Green onion (chopped) - 2 stalks
- Chicken broth (Halal) - 500 ml
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Red chili flakes - optional, to taste
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish) - a handful
Steps
- In a medium pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the shrimp, fish fillet, and scallops to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
- Carefully add the silken tofu, breaking it into large chunks, and let it warm through for another 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, and season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes (if using) to taste.
