  • Silken tofu - 200 grams
  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 100 grams
  • Fish fillet (such as cod or tilapia) - 100 grams
  • Scallops - 100 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (sliced) - 1 inch
  • Green onion (chopped) - 2 stalks
  • Chicken broth (Halal) - 500 ml
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Red chili flakes - optional, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish) - a handful

Steps

  1. In a medium pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add the shrimp, fish fillet, and scallops to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
  4. Carefully add the silken tofu, breaking it into large chunks, and let it warm through for another 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, and season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes (if using) to taste.
