  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the scallops and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and just cooked through. Remove scallops from the skillet and set aside.
