- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Spring onions - 2, chopped
- Red chili - 1, sliced (optional)

- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
