- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 medium (any color)
- Zucchini - 1 small
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Honey or maple syrup - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4 pieces
Steps
- Press the firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2 cm cubes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey or maple syrup, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- While the tofu marinates, wash and cut the bell pepper and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated tofu, bell pepper, and zucchini onto the skewers alternately.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the tofu is golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot, optionally garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
