- Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Chopped cilantro - 2 tablespoons, for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add cold water, mixing until the dough comes together. Shape into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, Chinese five-spice powder, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit a 9-inch tart pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim any excess.
