- carrot - 1 small, grated
- ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated

- soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- vegetable oil - for frying
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, water, salt, black pepper, and soy sauce to form a smooth batter.
- Fold in the chopped scallions, grated carrot, and grated ginger until well incorporated.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of vegetable oil.
- Pour about 1/2 cup of the batter into the skillet, spreading it gently to form a pancake.
