- Chinese broccoli - 300 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced

- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce (vegetarian) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Water - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Wash and trim the Chinese broccoli, cutting off any tough stems and separating the leaves from the thicker stalks.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the thicker stalks of the Chinese broccoli to the pan first and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
- Add the leaves and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water, stirring to combine and coat the vegetables.
- Drizzle the sesame oil over the broccoli, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat and serve hot.
