- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt.
- Slowly add the coconut milk and water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
- Grease a small, heatproof dish or mold with a little oil.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased dish and spread it evenly.
- Arrange the mixed fruits on top of the batter in the dish.
- Pour the remaining batter over the fruits, covering them completely.
- Prepare a steamer and bring water to a boil. Place the dish in the steamer, cover, and steam for about 30 minutes or until the cake is firm.
