Ingredients

  • Glutinous rice flour - 120 grams
  • Coconut milk - 100 milliliters
  • Water - 50 milliliters
  • Sugar - 30 grams
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Mixed fruits (e.g., diced mango, strawberry, kiwi) - 100 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Slowly add the coconut milk and water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Grease a small, heatproof dish or mold with a little oil.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the greased dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Arrange the mixed fruits on top of the batter in the dish.
  6. Pour the remaining batter over the fruits, covering them completely.
  7. Prepare a steamer and bring water to a boil. Place the dish in the steamer, cover, and steam for about 30 minutes or until the cake is firm.
  8. Once cooked, remove from the steamer and let it cool for a few minutes.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before slicing into pieces.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
