- Egg noodles - 150 grams
- Bell pepper (red) - 1, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create a sauce. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork slices to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked pork to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir to combine, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
