  • Chinese cabbage - 100 grams, chopped
  • Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 inch, minced
  • Spring onions - 2, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken broth - 500 milliliters
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Water - 0.5 liters

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced pork shoulder to the pot, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced carrots and diced bell pepper, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and 0.5 liters of water, then add the soy sauce.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Add the chopped Chinese cabbage and spring onions, and cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
