Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Chow mein noodles - 150 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Green onion - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, marinate the sliced pork with soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add a little more olive oil if necessary, then stir-fry the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the carrots, bell pepper, and broccoli to the pan, stir-frying for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the cooked pork to the pan, add the chow mein noodles, sesame oil, and water. Toss everything together until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Finish with chopped green onions and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.
