Ingredients

  • Halal pork tenderloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced halal pork, season with salt and black pepper, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and toss in the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  5. Gently add the cubed tofu and the cooked pork back into the skillet.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, then drizzle with sesame oil. Stir everything together gently and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
