Ingredients
- Cooked jasmine rice - 300 grams
- Pork shoulder, diced - 150 grams
- Firm tofu, diced - 100 grams
- Carrot, diced - 50 grams
- Green peas - 50 grams
- Spring onions, chopped - 2
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced pork shoulder and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the diced tofu and fry until golden on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside with the pork.
- Add minced garlic and diced carrot to the pan, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add cooked jasmine rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
- Return the cooked pork and tofu to the pan, along with the green peas, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Finally, add the chopped spring onions and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
