Ingredients
- Jasmine rice - 200 grams
- Pork tenderloin - 150 grams, thinly sliced
- Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Sesame oil - 10 ml
- Vegetable oil - 15 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Egg - 1, beaten
Steps
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions and let it cool.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced pork tenderloin to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender.
- Push the pork and mushrooms to one side of the skillet, and pour the beaten egg into the other side. Scramble the egg until fully cooked.
- Add the cooled rice to the skillet, mixing everything together.
- Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through.
- Finally, add the chopped green onions and stir well before serving.
