Ingredients
- Pork tenderloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
- Green beans - 200 grams, trimmed
- Basmati rice - 150 grams, uncooked
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Gluten-free soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 300 milliliters
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine the rice and 300 ml of water, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover. Cook for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced pork, gluten-free soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of black pepper. Allow it to marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked pork to the skillet, mix well with the green beans, and drizzle with sesame oil. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine all flavors.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve the stir-fry over the cooked basmati rice.
