Ingredients
- Ground pork - 200 grams
- Fresh chives - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Dumpling wrappers - 20 pieces
- Water - for boiling
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped chives, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to create a half-moon shape, and press the edges to seal tightly. Repeat until all filling is used.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Cook for about 6-8 minutes or until the dumplings float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the dumplings from the water and place them on a plate. Serve hot with additional soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
