Ingredients

  • Cooked jasmine rice - 300 grams
  • Ground pork - 150 grams
  • Green cabbage - 100 grams, finely shredded
  • Carrot - 50 grams, diced
  • Green onions - 3, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Eggs - 2, beaten

Steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground pork and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the diced carrot and shredded cabbage, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Push the pork and vegetable mixture to one side of the skillet, and add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the empty side.
  6. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and scramble until fully cooked, then mix with the pork and vegetables.
  7. Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce and sesame oil.
  8. Stir everything together, ensuring the rice is evenly coated, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and add the sliced green onions just before serving.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
