- Radishes - 200 grams
- Rice vinegar - 100 ml
- Water - 100 ml

- Salt - 1 teaspoon (5 grams)
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (5 ml)
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Wash and trim the radishes, then slice them thinly into rounds or matchsticks.
- In a small saucepan, combine the rice vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and sesame oil. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve completely.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the pickling liquid cool for a few minutes.
- Place the sliced radishes in a clean glass jar. If using, sprinkle the chili flakes over the radishes.
- Pour the cooled pickling liquid over the radishes, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. For best flavor, let them pickle overnight.
