Steps

  1. Peel the daikon radish and cut it into thin slices or matchsticks.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced daikon with salt and let it sit for 10 minutes to draw out excess water.
  3. After 10 minutes, rinse the daikon under cold water and drain well.
