  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. 1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1/2 cm thick.
  2. 2. In a mortar and pestle, crush the black peppercorns and Sichuan peppercorns until coarsely ground.
  3. 3. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, honey, rice vinegar, and the crushed peppercorns. Mix well to create the marinade.

  8. 8. Serve immediately with steamed rice or your choice of side.
