  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1/2, grated
  • Peanut butter - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (for sauce) - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth, leaving some chunks.
  2. Add cooked rice, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  3. Form the mixture into two patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
