Ingredients
- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Cauliflower rice - 1 cup
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh basil - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cauliflower rice, egg, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Spread the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a round pizza crust.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, diced bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add coconut aminos, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the meat mixture. Stir well to combine and remove from heat.
- Once the crust is done, spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly over the crust.
- Top with chopped green onions and fresh basil.
- Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
- Slice and serve hot.
