Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Cauliflower rice - 1 cup
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cauliflower rice, egg, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Spread the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a round pizza crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While the crust is baking, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, diced bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Add coconut aminos, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the meat mixture. Stir well to combine and remove from heat.
  9. Once the crust is done, spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly over the crust.
  10. Top with chopped green onions and fresh basil.
  11. Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
  12. Slice and serve hot.
