Ingredients
- Pork tenderloin - 300 grams
- Coconut aminos - 3 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Cauliflower - 400 grams, riced
- Egg - 1 large
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix coconut aminos, honey, rice vinegar, five-spice powder, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips and marinate in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- While the pork marinates, prepare the cauliflower crust by steaming the riced cauliflower until tender, then let it cool.
- Once cooled, combine the riced cauliflower with the egg and almond flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a lined baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated pork strips until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and top it with the cooked Char Siu pork.
- Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before slicing and serving.
