Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin - 300 grams
  • Coconut aminos - 3 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cauliflower - 400 grams, riced
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix coconut aminos, honey, rice vinegar, five-spice powder, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips and marinate in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the pork marinates, prepare the cauliflower crust by steaming the riced cauliflower until tender, then let it cool.
  5. Once cooled, combine the riced cauliflower with the egg and almond flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a lined baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
  7. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated pork strips until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  9. Remove the crust from the oven and top it with the cooked Char Siu pork.
  10. Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
  11. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before slicing and serving.
