  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 milliliters
  • Sugar - 5 grams
  • Salt - 3 grams
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Ningxia wolfberries (goji berries) - 30 grams
  • Soy sauce - 15 milliliters
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper (sliced) - 1 small
  • Red onion (sliced) - 1 small
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, and knead until a smooth dough forms (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 20 minutes or until doubled in size.
  4. While the dough is rising, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned (about 5-7 minutes). Stir in the Ningxia wolfberries and set aside.
  5. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a thin circle (about 30 cm in diameter). Transfer to a baking sheet.
  7. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the dough, then top with bell pepper, red onion, and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Sprinkle chili flakes and chopped cilantro over the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
