- Gluten-free flatbread - 2 pieces
- Ground lamb - 200 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Hoisin sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Scallions - 2, thinly sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground lamb to the skillet, cooking until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Break it up with a spatula as it cooks.
- Stir in the soy sauce and hoisin sauce, mixing well to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
- Meanwhile, preheat an oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Place the gluten-free flatbreads on a baking sheet. Evenly distribute the lamb mixture over each flatbread.
- Top the lamb with sliced red bell pepper, julienned carrot, and scallions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the edges of the flatbreads are crispy.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.
