Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce (Kosher) - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 3, sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Egg noodles (Kosher) - 150 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil. Sauté the garlic, ginger, red bell pepper, and carrot for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet, then add the cooked noodles, sesame oil, and sliced green onions. Toss everything together and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with black pepper to taste and serve hot.
