- White miso paste - 2 tablespoons (30g)
- Honey - 1 tablespoon (15g)
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix together miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the topping by mixing chopped green onions and sesame seeds in a small bowl.
- Once the salmon is ready, remove it from the oven, sprinkle with the green onion and sesame mixture, and serve immediately.
