- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Green onions, sliced - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds, toasted - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix together the white miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
- Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the cod from the marinade and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve the marinade for basting.
- Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, basting with the reserved marinade halfway through cooking.
