- Water - 100 ml
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water while stirring until a dough forms.

- Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle, about 5 mm thick.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each pancake for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil and sauté the chopped green onions for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and sesame oil together to create the dipping sauce.
- To serve, place the pancakes on a plate, top with sautéed green onions, fresh cilantro, cucumber, and carrot. Drizzle with the soy sauce mixture.
- Enjoy your Mian Wo warm!
