- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken broth (Halal) - 500 milliliters
- Soy sauce (Halal) - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (minced) - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions (chopped) - 2 stalks
- Carrot (sliced) - 1 small
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and water. Knead until a smooth dough forms, then cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- While the dough rests, prepare the broth. In a pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat, add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth and soy sauce to the pot. Bring to a simmer and add sliced carrots. Cook for about 5 minutes until the carrots are tender.
- Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface to a thin sheet, then cut into thin strips to form noodles.
- Add the noodles to the simmering broth and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
- Stir in the spinach and chopped green onions, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Drizzle sesame oil and season with black pepper to taste before serving.
