- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, minced
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Chili oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, chili oil, sesame oil, coconut aminos, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into small patties, about 5 cm in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To assemble, take a lettuce leaf and place a cooked patty inside. Top with additional cilantro and green onions if desired. Wrap the leaf around the patty and serve immediately.
