- Chicken breast - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes

- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced into thick rounds
- Red onion - 1 medium, cut into wedges
- Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Mala spice blend - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Chili oil - 1 tablespoon (adjust for spice level)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken cubes, mala spice blend, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into the specified sizes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken and the vegetables onto the soaked skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
- Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
