Ingredients

  • Wheat noodles - 200 grams
  • Lao Gan Ma chili crisp - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Spring onions - 2, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the wheat noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan along with the Lao Gan Ma chili crisp, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped spring onions and fresh cilantro.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
