Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 300 grams
  • Lao Gan Ma chili crisp - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Lao Gan Ma chili oil - 1 tablespoon for sauce
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, Lao Gan Ma chili crisp, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, mix mayonnaise with Lao Gan Ma chili oil in a small bowl to create a spicy sauce.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet after the patties are cooked, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble the burgers by spreading the spicy mayo on the bottom bun, adding a lettuce leaf, then the chicken patty, followed by tomato and cucumber slices. Top with chopped green onions, and place the top bun.
  7. Serve immediately with your choice of side.
