Ingredients
- Ground beef (80% lean) - 300 grams
- Lao Gan Ma chili crisp - 2 tablespoons
- Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1 small, shredded
- Coriander leaves (cilantro) - a handful, for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, Lao Gan Ma chili crisp, coconut flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, pressing them firmly to ensure they hold together.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing the romaine leaves and patting them dry.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty in a lettuce leaf and topping with sliced cucumber, shredded carrot, and a sprinkle of coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately, drizzling extra Lao Gan Ma chili crisp on top if desired.
