  • pizza dough - 250 grams
  • ground halal beef - 200 grams
  • onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • chili oil - to taste
  • water - 1/4 cup

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger, sauté until fragrant and onions are translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, Chinese five-spice powder, black pepper, and diced tomatoes. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the mixture is well combined and heated through. Remove from heat.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 12 inches in diameter.
  6. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
